Although much of today’s retail activity in the UAE takes place in the modern shopping malls, the country’s souks are still vibrant marketplaces and are an essential part of the true Emirati experience. This tour is for the deal-seeking shoppers who are looking for a cultural shopping experience.
Day 1 | Arrival: Guests will be met at the Dubai International Airport by our representative and transferred to their hotel.
Optional | Visit to Global Village: In the evening, guests can visit Global Village, a complete family destination with entertainment, shopping, dining options and live shows ranging from thrill/stunt shows, bespoke shows, street performers and cultural shows from around the world. Enjoy a shopping extravaganza from stands that represent different countries from around the world.
Day 2 | Journey thorugh Old Dubai and Souks: Deira is the old part of Dubai where guests can experience authentic shopping pleasure after crossing the creek in an abra. Home to Spice Souk, Gold Souk and Textile Souk, the winding trails are fun to tread while the display of items on the pathways creates a very bazaar-like atmosphere. Feel free to haggle at the souks as you can expect major drops in prices.
You will then visit the Karama Souk, where savvy shoppers and lovers of kitsch can buy souvenirs and counterfeit bags, watches and perfumes.
Day 3 | Outlet Mall and Dragon Mart: The Dubai Outlet Mall is one of the best places in the city to grab a bargain. Home to over 200 stores offering top brands at heavily discounted prices, the mall also offers a reasonable selection of restaurants and food outlets.
The 1.2 kilometre-long DragonMart is the largest trading centre for Chinese products outside mainland China. The 150,000 square meter dragon-shaped structure has 3,950 shops engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of a variety of Chinese products including home appliances, stationery, office appliances, communication and acoustic equipment, lamps, household items, building materials, furniture, toys, machinery, garments, textiles, footwear and general merchandise.

Souk Al Arsa, one of the oldest souks in the UAE, will take you on a journey back into the way people lived, prayed, studied and made a living 200 years ago. Souk Markaazi, popularly known as the Blue Souk, is the main shopping hub and one of the most impressive landmarks of Sharjah. It is charaterised by its special Arabic Islamic design work and is home to a large collection of antiques, carpets, gifts, electronics, gold, gems and jewelry in a total of 600 shops.
